See also Science 163: 155 (1969). Jahn & Jahn (How to Know the Protozoa: 7. 1949) and Whitttaker (Q. Rev. Biol. 34: 220. 1969) provide English descr. but no Lat. Bessey (1950) notes that Martin (Botanical Gazette 93: 421-435, 1932) suggested that the Fungi represent a third kingdom although how definitely is uncertain.
